Introducing Rosie, the third Ram Promaster conversion van in our fleet! This charming vehicle offers a smooth ride and a full-size bed measuring 54″ x 76″ x 8″ thick for a comfortable and restful sleep.
While Rosie is a dry camper van without running water or a bathroom, she comes equipped with everything you need to embark on a memorable Alaska adventure. You only need to bring specific outdoor gear of your own you cannot live without, specific phone/device charging cords, and groceries upon arrival.
Designed for two people, Rosie has been thoughtfully stocked with simplicity and convenience in mind. Here is a list of the complimentary amenities you can expect:
- (2) cans of bear spray for safety
- (2) plates and bowls
- (2) knives and pot/pans
- (2) pillows and camp chairs

Rosie is equipped with an auxiliary battery that powers 12v LED lighting, a four-port USB-A charging station, and an exhaust fan for ventilation during cooking or keeping cool on warmer days. The auxiliary battery is wired separately from the main battery, so there is no risk of draining it. Another feature of Rosie is the backup camera, making the maneuvering of this rig that much easier helping you to stay safe.
With an estimated fuel economy of 17-22 MPG, Rosie is a pleasure to drive and can take you to explore any road except for the Dalton Highway (Road to Deadhorse) and the road from Chitina to McCarthy. Please take it slow on gravel roads for a smoother ride.

How Rosie Got Her Name
We purchased Rosie in North Carolina on a complete whim. We had no plans of having a third van at that point, but when Eric’s sister Stacey gave us a call one day, and said, “I just saw an amazing Promaster, I sent you a link, what do you think?” After a quick review, everything looked and felt right about the van, but we were on the fence, how would we get it to AK? Stacey immediately said, “You buy it, and I will drive it up to you!”
Long story short, that is exactly what happened, and during the 4,500-mile journey, Stacey kept calling the van Rosie. We had plans for a different name, but after she arrived with the van and told us about her adventure across the continent to deliver the van, we just couldn’t change the name. So Rosie she is!
Rosie’s Reviews
Awesome Rig!
“Perfect rig for our adventure, solid unit that felt new with decent enough gas mileage. If not having a lav isn’t an issue, a smaller vehicle such as this provides many advantages…..easier to drive and much easier to park for the night and much easier to roll out in the morning. Van came to us with essential equipment and some nice extras. Eric was punctual and went out of his way to accommodate our schedule. Much appreciated, and a job well done. We’d do it all over.” —Rockwell
